What You'll Do
- Assist with the inspection, maintenance, and repair of commercial dock and door equipment
- Learn to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues under the guidance of experienced technicians
- Perform preventative maintenance on loading docks, overhead doors, dock levelers, and related equipment
- Maintain accurate service documentation and work orders
- Follow all company safety procedures and industry best practices
- Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers
- Maintain tools, equipment, and service vehicles in a clean and organized manner
- Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
- Support senior technicians on service calls and projects

- Successfully complete required training and certification programs
- Demonstrate consistent improvement in technical skills and job knowledge
- Maintain accurate and timely service documentation
- Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times

Background & Experience
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn required
- Prior experience in construction, maintenance, automotive, industrial, or mechanical work is a plus
- Ability to lift, carry, and work with tools and equipment safely
- Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
